The Secret War of 1834
A historical fiction novel about how the people of a young nation must struggle to control a viral outbreak, that threatens the lives of the entire population and, possibly, the world.
A determined Doctor. A desperate Native. A doomed rat. These three meet in the small town of Chicago, a frontier town just beginning to expand and grow. When everything goes wrong the isolated peoples of the war-weary frontier must band together and find new way to fight a new foe.
